Subject Matter:  Starting a vegetable garden

Grade Level: Pre-K

Lesson Objective:

Learners will demonstrate knowledge of/understanding of/ability to: plant seeds, grow vegetables, become involved in every step of gardening.

The students will do this activity at home with family members. The children will grow the vegetable of their choice and chart the days it take their plant to sprout.
